Essential oil of the well-known spice king – clove! Obtained from the buds or leaves of clove flowers. The essential oil from the leaves is lighter, more subtle, less intense and rich.
The closest to the smell of the bud is considered to be the essential oil obtained by CO2 extraction, the concentration of ea in the extract is 80-95%, of which 45-75% is eugenol.
