Fresh prebiotic living cosmetics - only at Kvapų namai. The plant world delights us with a wide range of oils, scented floral and herbal waters and essential oils. Although an oil or a hydrolyte is often special and valuable in its own way, and is a great cosmetic tool, when you skilfully combine several of these natural wonders into one, you get a synergistic effect, a cosmetic creation that is exceptional in its value and quality.
Our cosmetics are probably the only ones of their kind in Lithuania:
- fresh and "alive" - without preservatives like everyday bread and milk; produced in small batches in a laboratory in Vilnius and shipped the same week to our branded salons in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipėda. From the lab straight to the shelves, no middlemen;
- Extraordinary quality materials - only of plant origin (except beeswax), minimally processed to retain as much of the plant's natural energy as possible. These are not used by the cosmetics industry for the simple reason that they are unstable and perishable. Our fresh cosmetics use selected base and essential oils, and we distil our own plant hydrolats from local Lithuanian plants or bring them from familiar farms in Bulgaria, France and Spain (many of which are organically certified);
- special composition - only what the skin needs in the jar. Industrial, and often organic, creams with a shelf-life of more than 6 months do not contain what the skin needs, but rather so-called technical-functional ingredients - water, emulsifiers, thickeners, stabilisers, preservatives, purgatives, etc. - that make the cream very aesthetically pleasing, stable, and long-lasting. These substances are like worthless ballast on our skin, disrupting the skin's functions; some, especially preservatives, are even dangerous to the health of the skin (and beyond). We do not use technical ingredients at all in our creams, which are composed only of active ingredients that are essential for the skin. Instead of water, we use hydrates - aqueous extracts of herbs or flowers;
- A special production process - to preserve the natural life and energy of the plant substances, our creams are made cold, without heating, and in small batches to keep them as fresh as possible.
- Quality control - every raw material and every batch of creams produced is checked in our own chemical analysis and microbiology laboratory

STORAGE CONDITIONS FOR FRESH CREAMS. Of course, such fresh creams have a short shelf life of only 2-3 months (for creams without beeswax) or 5-6 months (for creams with beeswax); serums and balms are good for about a year. As we do not use emulsifiers and binders, the creams are sensitive to environmental influences. So protect them from vibration, shaking, temperature changes and the sun. Keep tightly closed, cool, preferably in the fridge. Try to keep germs out of the cream - do not put your fingers in the cream, preferably use a lightly rinsed spatula, the stem of a spoon. If the cream disintegrates due to unfavourable environmental conditions, don't worry: cool it down and blend it again to a smooth texture. The cream can be used again. Do not use if you notice any discolouration, odour or mould.
