bot. Valeriana officinalis

Valerian Essential Oil – distilled from the rhizomes and roots of Valeriana officinalis. It has a distinctive bitter-sweet, balsamic, medicinal aroma with musky and earthy notes.

Native to Europe and Asia, valerian has been familiar to many of us since childhood and has a long history of use in traditional herbal practices.

Its concentrated essential oil is valued for its distinctive aromatic character and is associated with a relaxing fragrance, a sense of calm, and a more peaceful atmosphere. It is also appreciated in formulations intended to create a soothing feel on the skin.

Please note: this essential oil is not registered as a medicinal product or biocide.

Natural plant essential oils not only offer pleasant aromas but also help create a cosy, harmonious, and biologically favourable environment. Such an atmosphere is especially valued by city dwellers who spend much of their time indoors and is important for children's naturally developing emotional balance.

- At bedtime, put 1 - 2 drops on your pillow, on a toy for a restless child, etc.;

- For a soothing massage of the whole body or lower abdomen, add a couple of drops of essential oil to a base vegetable oil (e.g. sesame, almond, etc.);

- To soothe the skin, add an essential oil to a cream or balm (concentrations up to 2-3% for adults, 0.5-1% for children). Use our concentrations calculator.
