Our peppermint essential oil comes from an organically certified farm. Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) essential oil is one of the most popular and well-known plant extracts in the world, widely used in the food industry, cosmetics, aromatherapy, and phytotherapy.
Menthol, which makes up to 50% of peppermint essential oil, gives it cooling properties associated with a gentle refreshing sensation on the skin and body. The amount of menthol and menthone creates its characteristic fresh, cooling mint aroma and flavour.
For explorers of subtle aromas and flavours, we recommend paying attention to the essential oil obtained by CO₂ extraction — it reveals scent nuances that are closest to the living plant. The essential oil concentration in this extract is 80–100%, with L-menthol content of 25–40%.
