Agarwood essential oil, Oudh, also known as agarwood, aloeswood or eaglewood essential oil, is distilled from the resinous heartwood of agarwood trees (Aquilaria spp.) that has naturally developed in response to fungal infection. Its aroma belongs to the animalic fragrance family, with distinctive notes of leather, smoke, precious woods and subtle fruitiness. A highly valued natural perfume fixative, it is renowned for its rich, intense and exceptionally long-lasting scent.
Our Oudh essential oil is sourced from responsibly cultivated agarwood plantations in Laos rather than from endangered wild trees.
