Aromatherapeutic, toning bath salt with grapefruit and ginger essential oils. Designed to let you enjoy SPA and aromatherapy pleasures at home — in the bath, foot baths, shower, or sauna. It is 100% natural Atlantic Ocean salt, traditionally produced, with pure, high-quality grapefruit, ginger, and cardamom essential oils that radiate warmth and energy. In addition, our salt naturally contains magnesium (580 mg / 100 g).

An aromatherapeutic bath (or foot bath) is a highly powerful procedure in which essential oils, together with salt ions, are inhaled through the respiratory tract and also absorbed through the skin.

The salt itself is of exceptional quality, traditionally harvested on a family farm on the Atlantic coast. The Portuguese family collects only about 1,000 tons of salt per year — a very small amount that ensures outstanding quality. This natural Atlantic salt is also used in thalassotherapy due to its purity and rich mineral content: it contains about 96% sodium chloride, and the rest consists of valuable mineral compounds and trace elements such as sulfates, calcium, magnesium (580 mg / 100 g), iodine, potassium, and iron.

saturate the skin with minerals and trace elements.

Usage

For a bath – mix 3–4 tablespoons into warm bath water at 38–40°C (hot water may irritate the skin); soak for about 10–15 minutes.
For a foot bath – 2–3 tablespoons.
In the sauna for inhalation – place a handful of aromatherapeutic salt into a clay or glass bowl and slowly pour warm water over it from above; the air fills with salt ions and essential-oil molecules.
In the sauna for a warm salt wrap – dissolve 2 handfuls of salt in half a bucket of warm water; soak a sheet in the salt solution, wrap yourself in it, and rest for 10–15 minutes.
For children, use a lower concentration – 2 tablespoons for a bath. However, there is no need to be overly cautious with salt. If the skin is sensitive, rinse children under the shower after the procedure.
