Wild carrot essential oil is very rare and hard to obtain, but is a wonderful aromatherapy, cosmetic and perfumery ingredient. Carrot seed essential oil is a great enrichment for cosmetic mixtures and creams, especially in anti-ageing cosmetics to slow down the ageing process and maintain skin elasticity. It contains as much as 75% carotol, confirming its wild origin!

It is particularly valued for its beneficial effects on developing, ageing and mature skin. Suitable for allergy sufferers as it is virtually free of cosmetic allergens, with only a very small amount of limonene (0.5%).

- Do not use on fresh skin as it may cause irritation; dilute with vegetable oil or butter;

- Do not use during pregnancy, lactation;
- Despite the high phyto-, aromatherapeutic quality of this oil, the aromatherapy community cannot recommend internal use for therapeutic purposes, but such use is possible if prescribed by a phyto/aromatherapist;
- Do not use on cats, birds, fish, rodents, reptiles (evaporate in small quantities at home or use on your own); do not use on dogs, horses near the muzzle, genitals, vaccinate;
- The fragrance house warns that this essential oil is not registered as a medicinal product;
- The Fragrance House warns that this essential oil is not registered as a biocide;
- Keep tightly closed in a dark, cool place.
