Ravintsara Essential Oil Cinnamomum camphora var. cineol

Ravintsara essential oil is highly valued by French aromatherapists for both its distinctive aroma and its appreciated properties. Distilled from the leaves of camphor trees growing in Madagascar, its scent is somewhat reminiscent of eucalyptus essential oil, yet richer, clearer, greener, with subtle woody and peppery undertones. It is an essential oil naturally high in 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol). In KVAPŲ NAMAI's ravintsara essential oil, 1,8-cineole is the predominant constituent (approximately 57%), together with around 12% sabinene and 10% alpha-terpineol.

Because of its distinctive aroma, aromatherapists often recommend ravintsara essential oil during the cold season, as well as for people who are physically active, lead intensive lifestyles, or experience ongoing tension.

It blends beautifully with a wide range of woody, minty, and citrus-scented essential oils. Experimenting with different combinations can produce particularly interesting aromatic blends.
