Lovage root essential oil, bot. Levisticum officinale
Our lovage root oil contains 64% of ligustilides. A variety of in vitro effects of ligustilide have been reported, including antiinflammatory and neuroprotective effects. Ligustilide has also been found in celery and angelica (Dong Quai), and is highly valued in Chinese Traditional Medicine. Detoxifying liver and digestive tract.
