bot. Rosa damascena
Genuine pure rose essential oil (traditionally known as rose hyssop), with a certificate of origin confirming its authenticity and organic, comes to us from Bulgaria, where it originates from the organic farm of the Kracmarov family. They are recognised as one of the world's best rose growers and distillers.
The House of Scents has enjoyed a warm and creative friendship with this family for many years. Their professionalism, creativity and love for roses is a pleasant surprise. The area is one of the highest rose gardens in the world, with roses growing at an altitude of around 800 metres above sea level. Altitude is very important for the scent of the roses – the higher they grow, the more moisture and coolness they receive and the more fragrant they become.
