Lavender Spike essential oil Lavandula latifolia Medik.
Spike lavender, bot. Lavandula latifolia, fr. lavande aspic essential oil is more tonic than calming.
Unlike true lavender, spike lavender essential oil is not dominated by the sedative linalyl acetate, but rather by eucalyptol (1,8 cineol) ~25%, camphor ~15%, but also contains a significant amount of linalool ~35%, as well as the sedative bisabolols bisabols and bisabolene. Due to this composition,it is considered to be most suitable for use by children (and adults) during the cold season, in case of weather changes and related problems - one of the best essential oils for indoor air purification during the winter season; for use in vaporizers-diffusers, personal sniffers, dry or wet inhalation. In the summer season it is also very good to have on hand to apply and soothe minor burns, stings and bites.
In contrast to its relatives, the bell lavender is completely unsightly, branched, with just a few small blossoms.

Natural plant essential oils do more than just smell nice. They bring us Nature's molecules where they are sorely lacking and help to create an anti-stress, calming and biologically supportive environment. This is very important for city dwellers living and working in synthetic concrete environments and for the more sensitive developing psyche of children.

Purifying the air and breathing: bell lavender essential oil can be used in vaporisers, humidifiers, aroma lamps and, if you don't have any, just sprinkle it on cotton wool and put it in a few places in your apartment on top of the warm radiators. Particularly good for steaming in children's rooms, bathrooms and communal areas. Can be added to water for washing floors etc.
Protection. If you need to feel the essential oil closer, e.g. when going to crowded places, put a few drops on your clothes, on your child's scarf, or inhale from a sniffer.
Scented baths. Lie in a bath of warm water with a few drops of the essential oil of bell lavender. Caution: the oil does not dissolve in water, so it should be added to a tablespoon of milk or common salt before being poured into the bath. An even quicker and more effective way is to bend over a steaming bowl and breathe 3 to 5 drops of the oil into the hot water for 10 minutes.
Massage: Add 3 to 4 drops of bell lavender oil to any base/massage oil and massage the back, chest, legs, feet and hands. Children love this foot massage.

Kai tik vasara - ir vėl tampa nepamainomas. Apsiginkluoju juo, nes mane labai mėgsta uodai, tuoj ir vėl teks malšinti uodų sukeltą niežulį. Tepu grynu tiesiai ant ištinusios vietos,- och, kaip palengvėja iškart. :)
