Every perfumer or perfume lover has his or her own favourite type of rose. It is customary to classify rose absolutes not only according to the type of rose, but also according to the country where they grow. Thus, some people prefer the soft Moroccan rose, the clear Egyptian rose, the sweet Turkish rose.

Roses are considered to be a great aphrodisiac, helping women to feel confident and charming, and are recommended for men against impotence. In addition, roses help with insomnia, nervous tension and stress. It is said that people who frequently inhale the scent of roses are sympathetic, kind and unobtrusive.

What is an absolute? It is an extract of volatile aromatic substances obtained using a chemical solvent, usually hexane. This method is commonly used to extract the scents of fragile flowers and is used primarily in natural perfumery. Good quality absolutes do not contain any solvent residue, but absolutes cannot be organic anyway and are called absolutes, not essential oils.

Roses and their essences have countless scent variations. Roses smell differently even at different times of the day, and their scent intensifies before a storm. Their flowers are picked before they open, with dew, at around 10am. If they are picked during the day, when the flowers are fully open, their scent is stronger but less sweet and less pleasant. It is more pungent, more coarse, if a rose can be called coarse at all. Choose and enjoy the rose you have discovered:

Although rose absolutes are primarily used in high-end perfumery, their applications are incomparably wider. It is not even necessary to say that rose is an aphrodisiac. It is particularly recommended for women who lack confidence in their charm and sexual maturity. Rose oils are also thought to help overcome sexual coldness, both in women and men, and are recommended for the latter in cases of impotence.

In the aromatherapy community, rose substances are highly valued for their effect on emotions and are considered an effective antidepressant.
