Rose absolute Rosa x damascena
bot. Rosa damascena
Every perfumer or perfume lover has his or her own favourite type of rose. It is customary to classify rose absolutes not only according to the type of rose, but also according to the country where they grow. Thus, some people prefer the soft Moroccan rose, the clear Egyptian rose, the sweet Turkish rose.
Roses are considered to be a great aphrodisiac, helping women to feel confident and charming, and are recommended for men against impotence. In addition, roses help with insomnia, nervous tension and stress. It is said that people who frequently inhale the scent of roses are sympathetic, kind and unobtrusive.
Attention – for your convenience, we also offer diluted absolutes in jojoba oil; the attractive price and the larger quantities allow you to try a variety of roses, and these high-end substances can be used in massage, cosmetic blends, perfumes or even in place of perfumes.
What is an absolute? It is an extract of volatile aromatic substances obtained using a chemical solvent, usually hexane. This method is commonly used to extract the scents of fragile flowers and is used primarily in natural perfumery. Good quality absolutes do not contain any solvent residue, but absolutes cannot be organic anyway and are called absolutes, not essential oils. That's why we suggest that purists use essential oils extracted by distillation or supercritical CO2 extraction - the deep and complex damask rose, or the fresh greenery of wrinkled thorn blossom.

Roses and their essences have countless scent variations. Roses smell differently even at different times of the day, and their scent intensifies before a storm. Their flowers are picked before they open, with dew, at around 10am. If they are picked during the day, when the flowers are fully open, their scent is stronger but less sweet and less pleasant. It is more pungent, more coarse, if a rose can be called coarse at all. Choose and enjoy the rose you have discovered:
Damask Moroccan rose absolute smells sweet and soft, yet retains the freshness of a fresh blossom.
Damask Turkish Rose Absolute is brighter and richer than Moroccan Rose Absolute, with a warm, full rose blossom fragrance.
Although rose absolutes are primarily used in high-end perfumery, their applications are incomparably wider. It is not even necessary to say that rose is an aphrodisiac. It is particularly recommended for women who lack confidence in their charm and sexual maturity. Rose oils are also thought to help overcome sexual coldness, both in women and men, and are recommended for the latter in cases of impotence.
In the aromatherapy community, rose substances are highly valued for their effect on emotions and are considered an effective antidepressant. Rose oils dispel melancholy and open the heart, and lift the spirit to a higher plane... Rose clears the mind of unnecessary thoughts and helps to make the right decision.
It is also good for insomnia, stress and nervous tension. The substances in rose calm the nervous system and help to 'feel good'. Reduces anger and choleric feelings. Opens and calms the heart. The scent and substances of roses distract the mind from the problems of everyday life, refresh and brighten the mind, and help to make the right decision. It gives a sense of security and helps to connect with subtle spiritual energies. Transforms the barren energy of anger, frustration and sadness into the energy of self-improvement.
It is a magical tonic for the heart and mind, reducing feelings of resentment and jealousy, calming anger and releasing suspicion.
Like Jasmine, Rose Absolute blends well with all other oils. It helps to correct fragrance inconsistencies and brings out the best in other notes thanks to its full, inexplicable beauty and subtlety. If you've made a mistake in your perfume formula, adding a little rose can usually correct it. In perfumery, rose absolutes are classified as a middle note.
