Jasmine flowers release such a unique aroma that it is impossible to compare it with anything else. Rich and warm, heavy and fruity, intensely floral, it has an almost intoxicating ability to evoke feelings and stimulate the imagination. At first, its damp, almost animalic sweetness alternates with a slightly bitter floral character, retaining its warmth and depth for a long time before gradually drying down and fading. Such a strong and complex jasmine aroma more often refreshes than calms, and in traditional fragrance culture is associated with an uplifted mood and a more sensual atmosphere.

Jasmine and mock orange are different plants. Jasmine (Jasminum genus) does not grow in Lithuania unless cultivated as a houseplant, and is often confused with the mock orange (Philadelphus coronarius, Hydrangeaceae), which is grown in Lithuanian gardens. Their aromas are very different. It is important to note that extracts of mock orange flowers are not commercially produced.
