What makes Kvapų Namai salts so special?
First of all, the basis itself – our salt – is of exceptional quality. The salt is harvested in the traditional way on a Portuguese family farm on the Atlantic coast and dried in the sun. The family produces a total of around 1,000 tons of salt per year – a small amount, but of exceptional quality, rich in minerals and solar energy. Natural Atlantic salt is often mentioned in the context of thalassotherapy (water and sea salt treatments) and is used in salt rooms. Our Atlantic salt contains about 96% sodium chloride (NaCl), with the remainder consisting of valuable mineral compounds and microelements: sulfates, calcium, magnesium (580 mg/100 g), iodine, potassium, and iron.
We have enriched this valuable salt with pure, tested essential oils – their aroma helps to create a healthy, calm, relaxing, and harmonious atmosphere. We do not add any dyes, fixatives, or binders, only a little skin-softening starch – you will not find a single drop of synthetic ingredients in our aromatherapy bath salts!
What aromatherapy rituals can be created with aromatic salt?
Aromatic salts can be used in various ways – in saunas, while relaxing in the bath, warming your feet in a foot bath or in an invigorating morning shower – listen to your inner needs.
An invigorating morning ritual. Start your day with a short contrast shower – alternating between warm and cool water activates blood circulation, strengthens immunity, and gives you a boost of energy. Sprinkle a spoonful of EUCALYPTUS SALT on the shower floor. You can make a similar shower salt from your own supplies: mix a tablespoon of salt with 4-10 drops of essential oils that energize the body and awaken the mind – in this case, rosemary, eucalyptus, mint, grapefruit, ginger, lemon, and rose; from the blends - Energy, Focus, Immunity, Motivation, Eucalyptus Grove. The vapors of essential oils will rise from the floor to your nose and inspire you with so much strength and good mood that you will want to move mountains!
Evening ritual – a soothing aromatherapy bath. Nothing warms you up and washes away the stress of the day faster than a warm aromatic bath! For evening rituals, it is best to choose the most pleasant and relaxing scents. For relaxing baths, we recommend BATH SALT WITH LAVENDER or BATH SALT WITH BERGAMOT. You can also make your own salt from your existing supplies; use lavender, geranium, Ho wood, rose, palmarosa essential oils; Relaxatio, Harmonia, Immunitas, Meditacija blends.
If you don't have a bathtub, don't worry, an aromatic foot bath is a great substitute. nbsp;If you have chapped or cold feet, soak them in a bath with SALT WITH EUCALYPTUS
How to use aromatic salts correctly, step by step:
- We do not recommend using strongly scented bath salts, as you do not need much to feel the effect, even if the scent is not strong.
- The high concentration of salt and essential oils in a hot bath can irritate sensitive skin or respiratory tracts.
- Before an aromatherapy bath, it is necessary to wash; the procedure should only be enjoyed with a clean body.
- Flavored salt dosage:
- For a bath – dissolve 3–4 tablespoons of salt in warm (not hot!) water.
- For foot baths or foot soaks – 2–3 tablespoons.
- Use less for children's baths – 1–2 tablespoons.
- If your skin is sensitive, you can rinse it with water after bathing. Otherwise, it is better to let the salt solution dry naturally so that the salt minerals remain on the skin.
- Enjoy the bath or foot bath for about 10–20 minutes until the water cools down.
- Use of salt in the sauna:
- For sauna inhalations – place a handful of aromatherapy salt in a clay or glass bowl and slowly pour hot water over it; the air will fill with the aroma of salt ions and essential oils.
- For sauna salt wraps – dissolve 2 handfuls of aromatherapy salt in ½ a bucket of warm water. Dip a towel into the solution, wrap yourself in it, and relax for 10–15 minutes.
Do not use scented creams after an aromatic bath — your skin has already absorbed enough fragrant molecules. It is better to rub your wet body with with high-quality unrefined oil - jojoba, macadamia, baobab, natural Monoi de Tahiti - they will be absorbed very quickly into wet, warm skin, nourishing it and saturating it with antioxidants, vitamins, and all kinds of other goodness.
Aromatherapy salts are one of the most pleasant ways to enjoy the scent of essential oils, when heat, salt, and natural aromas combine to create a relaxing experience. Such bath salts in the bathtub, foot bath, or sauna can not only provide pleasure, but also warm you up, surround you with calmness, and restore your inner balance.
